Lagnese Garden Bench
Floating garden designed for a private backyard Japanese garden in Highland Park, Pittsburgh. Reclaimed natural edge hickory slabs are suspended via two recessed steel flat bars. A through-tenon post appears to pierce the seat pan. Designed collaboratively with David Lagnese.

Bench designed to float over walkway. Low-profile seat pan depth to allow for an unobstructed path. Recycle bin & tool bag mock-up: approved.

Rudimentary 3D model to validate dimensions and calculate the proper post offset and angle to ensure clearance.
